Emma Spence lives and works in Hillsborough Co.Down, Northern Ireland.

Her art is a response to an ongoing exploration of her surroundings and

history. The work  is mixed media on board and incorporates old wallpaper, documents and scribed thoughts and experiences. These create a base

of texture for the application of paint. Her individual response to a subject 

aims to evoke memories and present the raw beauty that makes up our

cultural identity.
